Bamboo Mixed Media, 265 gsm

is also made from approx. 90% bamboo and has been developed as a mixed media quality. Its unique surface makes it equally ideal for painting, drawing and mixed techniques. According to the painter Karin Kuthe, who has tested the paper, “Bamboo 265 gsm is a beautiful paper with an amazing feel. The paper characteristics convinced me, no matter what medium I used - pastel, oil pastel, crayon, pencil, watercolor, gouache, acrylic, air brush. While painting with watercolors the paper does not become wavy in any way. This leads to outstanding results with wash, glaze and wet-on-wet techniques.I am very confident that Bamboo 265 gsm will be extremely sought-after, not least because it is made from highly renewable Bamboo and therefore helps to save our natural world.”  Bamboo 265 will be presented in January 2008 at the Paperworld show in Frankfurt and will subsequently be available on the market.
